Amsterdam trap collective Yellow Claw have fast become a beacon to the genre’s leaps and bounds across the global industry. In partnership with Spinnin Records, the trio has unveiled its latest 808-favoring venture, adding Barong Family to spice up Spinnin’s roster of artist-led offshoots. With Dutch peers Mightyfools joining for first fruitful offering “Lick Dat,” the label’s musical mission is meticulously pinpointed. Fast grooved, triplet driven and strung together with an infectious top line, this is a very early indicator that the Dutch circuit has a new musical family set to make big noise for the ever expanding remits of trap.
